Training Materials
Physician training materials are a challenge. The physicians are busy and have little patience for taking classes or reading documentation. On the other hand, when they experience problems they are typically not on the hospital campus so it is difficult to give them support.
When we launched a web version of our remote access client, the physicians were eager to start using it. We did serveral versions of a large manual that met with limited success.
This spring, when we finally made Physician Remote Access available for MAC users, I was finally able to create training materials that were much shorter and easier to navigate.
